Beaver Scouts are the youngest section in The Scout Association and are aged 6 –8 years old. The Beaver Scouts meet in Colonies of between 12 -24.

Beaver Scouts have lots of fun doing different activities which include making things, going on visits, making friends, doing badges and going away for a night on a sleepover.

Beavers Meeting

We currently have two Beaver colonies. One meets on a Tuesday evening 6.30 till 7.30 and the group is brilliantly run by Jane Manners and the second meet on a Thursday evening from 6 till 7pm. This is a new group and will be run by the adorable Zoe.

If you would like your child to join the new Thursday Beavers then complete THIS FORM and return it to Zoe McCloud-Irvine at 62, Luton Road, Toddington.

The following quote was taken from a young Beaver and in my eyes it sums up the fun that can be had....

“The best thing we did was swim in the rain. I wasn’t even sure we were allowed to, but it was brilliant! I mean we were wet anyway, so I guess it didn’t matter too much about the weather.”

If you (or indeed you child!) are interested in becoming a Beaver, why not check out their web site by clicking below.
